Selena Gomez - an international singer and actress - is well-known worldwide. Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place was one of Selena Gomez's most popular projects. The full name of Selena Marie Gomez is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on the 22nd of July 1992, at Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. Selena's mother was just 16 years old at the time she was born. When she was 9 the actress got her first gig as a showgirl after she was offered the role as Gianna on Barney and her Friends. In the process, she was a part of one of history's most anthropomorphic and purple dinosaurs. Selena performed on a variety of episodes of seasons 7 and 8 between 2001 until 2003. Selena Gomez was not the only performer to be featured in Barney and His Friends from 2001 to 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the cast also. After leaving the series Selena Gomez auditioned for several parts in different programs as well as films, but wasn't much success. Her role was a little smaller as a character in Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003, and an additional role part in the film as Julie as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. Also, she was cast in the role of Emily Grace Garcia, a person she wrote a musical for in 2006's Brain Zapped.
