Aisling Bea
Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian who has been around for a long time. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. The comedian has been on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh or Aisling "Bea", is a popular Irish writer and actor. She was born on March 16, 1984. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011 as a comedian after appearing in small parts in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. As early as 2012, Bea was appearing in sitcoms and sketch comedy. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for different panel shows, where she is now a regular. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's one of the most popular contestants on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was the winner of the So You Believe You're Funny Award for the second time. Bea was presented with the award to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who killed himself when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she was thirteen. She chose the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her deceased father. She also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were raised in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. The family was fascinated by racing and horses. Bea was a trainer for the Irish National Stud in her early days. But she was aware that it wasn't what she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in doing.
